Visomitin is based on Skulachev Ions, which have a uniquep roperty: when entering themcells, the ions go directly to the mitochondria. Therefore Visomitin is the world’s first registered antioxidant targeting mitochondria. Mitochondria are specific organelles found in most cells in our body. They are cellular power plants, produce and store energy, which is then consumed by the cell. A byproduct of the production of useful energy are reactive oxygen species (ROS). Excessive amounts of ROS with oxidative stress cause serious harm to the cell. And although most cells have the means of struggle against excess ROS, in the case of some diseases such as ROS produced by mitochondria, are a signal of irreversible cell death (apoptosis). The main problem is the absence of drugs on the market, which target mitochondria. Since it’s the mitochondria that are the major source of ROS in a cell, it is important to deliver a significant amount of antioxidants to these organelles. Visomitin does exactly that.

USES
Protects Eye Tissue From Reactive Oxygen Species and Free Radicals
Delivers Antioxidants Directly to Mitochondria
Normalisation of Own Tears Production
Increase in Tear Film Stability
Improvement of Metabolic Processes in the Eye Tissue
Degeneration Slowdown of the Lacrimal Gland
Eliminating Eye Inflammation (Redness, Foreign Body Sensation and Dryness)

DESCRIPTION
Plastohinonildetsiltrifenilfosfomiya bromide the active ingredient of Visomitin is derived plastoquinone which via a linker chain (CIO) is connected to the remainder of triphenylphosphine. PDTF at low (nanomolar)concentrations shows a high antioxidant activity. Also has a stimulating effect on the process of tear production, epithelialization, it contributes to the stability of the tear film.
