- Low testosterone
Cernos gel is a clear, colorless, and odorless gel containing testosterone as the active ingredient. It is used topically to treat low testosterone levels in men, a condition known as hypogonadism.
Cernos gel is primarily used to treat low testosterone levels in men, a condition known as hypogonadism. Testosterone is a hormone that plays a key role in male development, including the growth and maintenance of muscle mass, bone density, and sex drive.
By replenishing testosterone levels, Cernos gel may help to improve symptoms of low testosterone, including fatigue, low sex drive, and decreased muscle mass. It may also help to improve mood and overall sense of well-being in men with hypogonadism.
In addition to treating hypogonadism, Cernos gel may also be used off-label for other purposes, such as to improve athletic performance or to treat certain types of breast cancer in women.
